Hello, I’m Ejder Bayir. I have been working as geomatics engineer in KAMA Machinery for 3 years. As KAMA Machinery, We design finishing machines and finishing lines since 2010 in the wood finishing industry. We offer many solutions such as spraying, sanding, loading/unloading and stacking.
As you know one of the most important topic in this industry is traceability. In recent years, we have been integrating artificial intelligence and other technologies into our machines and producing more technological, smarter and sustainable machines.
CAN YOU TALK ABOUT KBOTIC?
We are happy to exhibit our “Kbotic” Smart Cartesian Spraying Machine, which we have been doing R&D for 2 years. The Kbotic Smart Cartesian Spraying Machine is the perfect solution for high capacity production and high quality. With the scanning unit named as Kavision at the entrance, machine detects the positions of the parts of different shapes and sizes that will enter, and dynamically produces 3D models.
With this data from the Kavision Scanning unit, Kbotic calculates the optimal spraying trajectory . Thanks to the user-friendly interface, these models can be viewed simultaneously on the machine screen, reported and spraying parameters can be easily adjusted. With the IoT features included in Kbotic, it is possible to collect data, and share this collected data over a network without need for a human.
WHAT IS KBOTIC’S MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE ?
By the Kavision Scanning Unit, kbotic detects 2D and 3D objects and applies the most suitable spraying. you can choose how many times edges and surface of the pieces will be sprayed, besides you can set the order of edge spraying and surface spraying. What makes KBotic so special is that it includes smart quality control unit. With the advantage of patented sqc, homogenity of the paint layer on the product is analyzed by digital image processing methods. Using the obtained numerical data, parameter corrections are calculated and sent to the robotic arms to perform more homogeneous paint layer. Thanks to the smart quality control system, paint quality of the machine-painted products is increased with the continuous corrections provided by the smart quality control unit. Quality controls of the painted producs are carried out quickly and effortlessly. Controlled products are reported with their digital images and numerical homogeneity values. In addition, before/after painting and paint homogeneity maps can be stored up to the last 50.000 products.
